Thanks to Misty Khan I found out today that Google has a sync tool for their Calendar to play with Outlook’s Calendar. That’s fantastic! I get to marry the best of two worlds together. I love Google’s Calendar app because of the ability to share it easily with my colleague’s thru my Google Hosted account, plus the UI is just the nuts. But with using Outlook for emails and synching to my Phone i was missing out. Now I can have it all!!!!
From Google:
“Google Calendar Sync allows you to sync events between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. You’ll be able to determine the direction of information flow, as well as the sync frequency. Staying on top of your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar events has never been easier!”
Now to get it working…

I really watch what we eat. We keep to fresh or frozen foods, eat as much fruit and vegetables as we can. Whole grains, garlic, ginger, good healthy root vegetables and green leafy things. We even get in 3 meals a day the majority of the time. I’m not a big snacker, so six meals a day, wow. Not sure I have the stamina for it let alone Charles. There’s also times when neither of us really feel like eating, and I haven’t found a really good product for a meal replacement yet. Or a great supplement to get all the nutrients that we need.
Well today a colleague posted about a Super Food Supplement I may have to give a shot. He mixes it with yogurt for a morning meal, and for me, that’s perfect. We’ve been drinking protein shakes as a breakfast replacement since during the week we rarely have time to stop for a full meal, but it doesn’t have all the rest of the nutrients I am looking for. My colleague’s find is called Performance Superfood by BioTest and you can read about it here: Superfood

MagicJack has been making waves these days by offering a really cool alternative to Skype or Vonage, or other VOIP services. It’s a handy little device that plugs into your computer’s USB port, allowing you to plug in a traditional phone and make free calls anywhere in the world. A one time charge of $39 (plus tax and shipping) and away you go for a year’s worth of service. I might have to try this. I am not a Skype fan and I hate travelling with my Vonage router and phones, so this could be the best alternative for me when I’m on the road and need to talk to my clients overseas.
